DCMM designs and installs video broadcast systems for studios, live events, corporate town halls, and church services: cameras, switchers, encoders, signal routing, streaming, and the control rooms that run them. Every system gets tested under real show-day load before it goes live.
That test matters because a vendor demo proves almost nothing. The demo runs one camera, wired straight to the encoder, streaming to a private link in an empty room. Show day puts four camera sources on the switcher’s program bus at once, pushes the stream over the same network carrying two hundred phones, and hands the cut to an operator working under that load for the first time. The feed that never dropped in the demo starts buffering in the middle of the keynote.
We test the load before the room fills up
Switcher inputs get mapped to the real camera count and given tally, not left to guesswork on show morning. Encoders get profiled at the bitrate the event will push, on the network it will share, and we run that load days before the crowd shows up.
If a camera source drops mid-show, the switcher already has a backup input cued on preview, so nobody is patching a new source in live in front of an audience. Ask for the load test recording. It’s timestamped and dated before the event.
