DCMM handles commercial networking and security camera projects across Alabama, and most of that work lands in two cities. Huntsville runs on aerospace and defense: office parks and cleared facilities clustered around Redstone Arsenal. Birmingham runs on healthcare and finance: a medical district anchored by UAB’s hospital and research campuses, plus the banking and insurance offices downtown. One process covers both.

Based in Georgia, on site in Alabama

DCMM works out of Georgia. There is no local Alabama office. Alabama sits close enough that the drive rarely becomes a scheduling problem, and one crew handles the walkthrough, the design, and the install, in that order, with no handoff to a local subcontractor partway through.

The two cities ask for different things. In Huntsville’s contractor facilities, network documentation is expected paperwork, and nothing gets signed off without it. A camera system in a Huntsville office park and one in a Birmingham hospital corridor solve different problems, but both get built the same way. Redstone’s badge requirements and UAB’s patient-privacy rules ask the same question in different language: who was on site, and when.

If your project involves clearance requirements or restricted areas, say so before the walkthrough gets scheduled. That detail changes who can be on site and how the visit gets planned, and it’s easier to settle by phone than at the front gate. Design sign-off happens on paper, before any cable gets ordered.
