Start from a system that already runs in Tennessee

Knoxville would not be our first Tennessee camera job. Family Resource Agency runs our cameras at campuses across the state, with storage built to hold months of recordings and battery backup rated to ride out a four-hour outage. We bring it up because Knoxville’s camera problems are usually growth problems, and that was a multi-campus build. The university and the medical center keep expanding, and each new satellite clinic tends to get whatever hardware its contractor had on the truck. By clinic three, nothing matches. Meanwhile footage overwrites itself before anyone checks it, and the newest building’s wifi can barely lift a live feed.

Design for the next clinic before it opens

The system we design assumes you’re not done growing. Growth is the design input. Storage follows your retention policy rather than the recorder’s default, and the network behind the cameras can take on another building without a redesign. Coverage follows the rhythm of a clinic or campus day: entrances and corridors while the building is busy, parking and perimeter after dark. Interior domes stay discreet around patients and students. Exterior bullets carry infrared for the lots, in housings that take an East Tennessee winter and an August heat wave in stride. Any building’s feed comes up on a phone, with flagged motion queued for review instead of hours of scrolling.

The drive north is part of the deal

We make no claim to a Knoxville office. The crew drives up from Georgia the way it drove to FRA’s campuses, and the order of work is fixed: a survey around your clinic hours or academic calendar, a signed camera plan, then one mobilization that installs every building in scope. Then the trucks head south. Support and monitoring run remotely once you’re live, and if a camera needs hands later, the return visit comes from people who already know which hallway is which.
