The university keeps adding facilities faster than security budgets follow, and the agencies filling buildings around the capitol complex grow the same way. An agency spread across three addresses often runs three unrelated camera systems, bought years apart, one per building. A campus-adjacent office covers its lobby and calls it a day. Nobody sees the whole picture, because no whole picture exists.

Designed as a campus, not a collection

We design institutional systems as a single system from the first drawing. Each building lands on the same platform, behind a single login, with retention following your policy rather than the hardware’s factory setting. Placement follows each building’s job. Inside, low-profile dome units cover lobbies and corridors without announcing themselves. Parking areas and perimeters get infrared bullet units that keep their detail after dark. Where grounds or entrances need one camera doing the work of several, we spec pan-tilt-zoom. Alerts come from analytics, not from a staffer parked in front of a bank of monitors. Buildings that carry credential systems get cameras paired with them. We have delivered this shape of system before, for a family services agency running campuses across Tennessee, with centralized storage holding months of footage.

An honest note on geography

DCMM is based in Georgia. We travel to Columbia for this work; there’s no local office behind it, and we would rather put that in writing than imply a presence we do not have. The upside is that nothing gets delegated. Whoever surveys your buildings does it around access rules and operating hours, and the same people handle the install at every one of those addresses. Support afterward lands with them too. Your plan gets approved before a single mount goes up, the install runs until every camera checks out, and any visit down the line brings back the crew that knows the system because it built the system.
